The Alasinrin Musbau Movement (AMM) has called on its founder to contest for a seat in the Kwara State House of Assembly, representing Ilorin North West Constituency, citing his track record of grassroots development and commitment to public service.
In a statement released by the group, the movement described the appeal as a “historic and heartfelt call” for its founder to step forward and offer himself for legislative service at a time when leadership demands impact, compassion, and integrity.
According to AMM, its founder has, over the years, demonstrated selfless leadership through various initiatives that have positively impacted youths and communities across Ilorin North and beyond. The group highlighted his contributions in areas such as youth empowerment, job creation, mentorship, and community development, noting that his legacy is defined by “visible and measurable actions” rather than mere promises.
The movement emphasized that, unlike many who seek political office for personal gain, its founder has consistently shown that leadership is about service to humanity. It added that his sustained investment of time, resources, and energy into uplifting young people has earned him widespread trust, admiration, and loyalty.
AMM further noted that Ilorin North West Constituency is at a critical point, requiring representation that understands the needs and aspirations of the people and is capable of effectively championing them at the legislative level.
“The need for a credible, compassionate, and capable leader has never been greater. In our founder, we see not just a leader, but a servant of the people whose vision aligns with the hopes of the constituency,” the statement read.
The group maintained that the time had come for its founder to transition from grassroots engagement to legislative influence, stressing that his impact should be expanded through policy-making and representation at the state level.
“The voice of the people must be amplified within the chambers of power, and policies that directly uplift the community must be championed with courage and clarity,” the statement added.
While urging their founder to heed the call, AMM assured that the movement remains united and ready to mobilize support across all wards, engage stakeholders, and work toward achieving the goal.
Describing the appeal as more than a political move, the group framed it as a call to duty aimed at elevating service and bringing governance closer to the people.
“The future is now. The mandate is clear. The people are ready,” the statement concluded.
