Kwara State stands today as a political chef-d’œuvre—an example of developmental politics, transformative leadership, and modern governance within the North Central region and beyond. As the state approaches another critical political transition, the need for a capable, visionary, and people-centered leader becomes increasingly imperative.
Kwara deserves a leader with a proven track record, one who is dynamic, experienced, and committed to sustaining the gains of the present while steering the state toward a more strategic and sustainable future.
Engr. Femi Sanni Araba’s political pedigree reflects influence, consistency, and deep-rooted contributions to the evolution of the progressive era in Nigeria. His journey is defined by decades of unwavering commitment, strategic alliances with pro-democracy figures, and a steadfast dedication to progressive ideals.
Rising from humble beginnings, he has grown into a figure of global relevance, combining international exposure with active participation in Nigerian politics. Over the years, he has leveraged his global networks to advance development and positively impact lives across Kwara State.
With over three decades of experience spanning engineering, entrepreneurship, and leadership, Engr. Araba has consistently driven innovation, fostered growth, and created meaningful social impact. His professional footprint cuts across telecommunications, construction, insurance, media, and consultancy anchored in strong technical expertise and strategic vision.
Through the Stëfolga Group, established in 1999 and operating in both Nigeria and Canada, he has led initiatives in oil and gas, real estate, engineering, and consultancy. The organization has become a vital support system in Kwara, contributing to infrastructure development, healthcare access, and youth empowerment through sustainable and impactful programs.
Notably, the Stëfolga Mobile Clinic initiative has delivered critical healthcare services to underserved communities. In 2025 alone, over 150 individuals benefited from free medical checkups, treatments, and minor surgeries. This effort expanded further in February 2026 at the Emir’s Palace in Ilorin, reaching approximately 450 beneficiaries—demonstrating a deep commitment to improving public health outcomes for vulnerable populations.
Beyond healthcare, Engr. Araba has also made remarkable contributions to youth and community development. Through Flow FM 92.7, he has created a platform that amplifies community voices and engages stakeholders on pressing societal issues. Similarly, Araba FC serves as a channel for youth engagement, sports development, and talent discovery.
These initiatives underscore a clear and consistent dedication to addressing unemployment, empowering young people, and fostering inclusive development across Kwara State.
As conversations intensify around the future leadership of the state, Engr. Araba’s record of service, compassion, and competence positions him as a credible and compelling choice. He represents a blend of grassroots connection, professional excellence, and visionary leadership.
Kwarans are therefore called upon to rally behind a leader who embodies the aspirations of the people—a champion of youth and women empowerment, a globally exposed engineer, a seasoned technocrat, and a committed progressive.
Building on the legacy of Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON, Kwara can achieve even greater heights with the right leadership continuity and innovation.
Kwara deserves the best. Engr. Femi Sanni Araba, FNICE, FNSE, remains deeply connected to the grassroots, understands the needs of the people, and possesses the capacity and readiness to serve. He deserves the collective support of all Kwarans as the next Governor of Kwara State.
Comr. Yusuf Abdulgafar, a native of Okelele in Ilorin East Local Government Area, is a former Chairman of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Kwara Axis.
