The Concerned APC Loyalists from Ifelodun Local Government hereby express our profound appreciation to the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, for ensuring a free, fair, peaceful, and credible APC primary election across the state.
We commend the leadership of the party for standing firmly on the principles of democracy, transparency, and fairness throughout the conduct of the primaries. The outcome of the exercise clearly reflected the genuine wishes of party members and the people at the grassroots, especially in Ifelodun Local Government.
We wish to state categorically that the decisions reached in the various constituencies were based strictly on the officially declared results of the primary election and not on fabricated claims or manipulated narratives being circulated by some unclear aspirants and their supporters.
For Omupo Constituency, the process and outcome involving Lawal Sulaimon, Hon. Mukaila, and Chief Shogo were conducted within the framework of the party’s democratic process.
Likewise, in Share/Oke-Ode Constituency, the exercise involving Hon. Akogun, Hon. Dairo, and Hon. Kunle followed due process and reflected the will of party members.
We therefore urge all unclear aspirants and their supporters to desist from spreading misleading information capable of creating confusion in the minds of the good people of Ifelodun Local Government and Kwarans at large. Politics should not be driven by falsehood, bitterness, or unnecessary propaganda after a transparent exercise.
As loyal members of the APC, we encourage all party faithful to unite behind the party’s leadership and work collectively for the continued progress and stability of Kwara State under the visionary leadership of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
Once again, we sincerely appreciate His Excellency for providing a level playing field for all aspirants and for strengthening internal democracy within the APC.
