…Party Leaders Urge Unity, Grassroots Mobilisation Ahead of 2027 Elections
Dr Audu Idowu Musa has donated vehicles to the Kwara South APC Joint Association and the Kwara South APC Support Group to strengthen grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The vehicles were presented on Thursday at the All Progressives Congress (APC) State Secretariat in Ilorin during a ceremony attended by party leaders, elders and members of the beneficiary groups.
The delegation representing Dr Audu Idowu Musa was led by elder statesman Hon. Chief Samuel Bamisaye, alongside Chief R.O. Dada, Alhaji Tajudeen Lawal-Araba and other stakeholders from Kwara South.
Speaking at the event, the delegation commended Kwara State Governor and APC leader, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, for his administration's commitment to human capital development, infrastructure, education, agriculture and other critical sectors.
The team also praised the governor's commitment to equity, fairness and justice in the selection of candidates and appointments across the state.
The delegation further emphasised the importance of collective responsibility among party members and stakeholders in supporting Rt. Hon. Engr. Salihu Yakubu Danladi, describing his leadership as important to the future of Kwara State's political development.
According to the team, Danladi represents experience, loyalty, capacity and stability, qualities it said would help sustain the progress recorded under AbdulRazaq's administration and advance the state's development agenda.
APC Leadership Calls for Unity
Receiving the vehicles on behalf of the party, the APC State Secretary, Alhaji Mustapha Ishowo, who represented the State Chairman, Prince Sunday Fagbemi, urged the beneficiaries to deploy the vehicles effectively for party activities.
Ishowo called on party members to work together in unity and strengthen grassroots engagement to improve the party's chances in the forthcoming elections.
He stressed the importance of collective efforts to secure electoral success for the APC at all levels.
The donation was welcomed by party members at the ceremony, who described it as a morale booster for grassroots mobilisation efforts in Kwara South.
The initiative is expected to enhance the operational capacity of the beneficiary groups as they intensify engagement with party members and supporters across the district ahead of the 2027 general elections.
