Akeweje Hosts Annual Iftar for AAMC Members, Stresses Loyalty, Legacy Continuity Ahead of 2027

The Senior Special Assistant to the Kwara State Governor on New Media, Akeweje Olayinka Fafoluyi hosted members of the AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq Media Centre (AAMC) at his annual iftar held at his residence in Ilorin.

The event, which also served as an appreciation gathering organised by the SSA—who holds the traditional title of Akeweje of Aran-Orin—was aimed at recognising the team’s consistent efforts in effectively projecting the AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq-led administration and highlighting the development recorded across the state under the leadership of the Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum.

In a heartfelt address, Akeweje commended AAMC members for their unwavering dedication, noting that their commitment has translated into personal growth and career advancement for individuals within the team.

While expressing profound appreciation for their continued trust in his leadership and judgement, he emphasised that loyalty remains the currency of politics. He advised members to stay committed to their convictions and to value every act of goodwill, regardless of its size.

Looking ahead to the 2027 general elections, the Akeweje of Aran-Orin urged members to remain steadfast and attentive to the direction of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq. He also encouraged them to align with aspirants who genuinely have the state’s best interests at heart and are committed to sustaining the enduring legacy established by the administration across key sectors of the economy.

The iftar featured a team get-together, refreshments, and robust discussions on strategies to sustain effective media support for the government. The event reinforced a spirit of unity, gratitude, and forward-looking commitment within the AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq Media Centre as the administration approaches its final phase.
