Yakubu Tunde Ajadi Prudent's aspiration, to contest for position of Member House of Representatives for Ilorin East /South Federal Constituency. Ahead of 2027 general elections, Okelele Youths, and residents troop out in thousands to received their ideal aspirant as Group of Friends unveils street Billboards to honor and support Hon. Yakubu Tunde Ajadi Prudent's aspiration, to contest for position of Member House of Representatives for Ilorin East /South Federal Constituency.
The unveiling which took place on Friday May 1st 2026, begin from GDSS Amule and across several locations within Okelele, Ilorin, the State capital.
The group of friends which happened to be Prudent Childhood friends from the same community revealed reasons behind gesture.
According to Comrade Issa AbdulGafar (Saoty) who anchored the event, during the Opening remarks, he noted that the support for the aspiration of Hon. Tunde Ajadi (Prudent) is not driven by money, but by a genuine belief in his capacity to lead. He emphasized that Ajadi truly fits the position, describing him as one of the people who understands the value of grassroots engagement.
Saoty further noted that the initiative was carried out by a group of Ajadi’s childhood friends, whose loyalty and long-standing relationship with him have remained strong over the years.
According to spokesman on behalf of the Group Of Friends, Comrade Yusuf AbdulGafar (Gee-Roofai), said Hon. Prudent is the most idea aspirant among his contending aspirants within the federal constituency.
"He is a Community Product, Youths Ambassador and he is ready to serve".
"Prudent is the outstanding aspirant because he has lived in this environment during his childhood and understand the root of every communities in Okelele area Ibagun Ward of Ilorin East LG"
"We still have a lots of appropriate initiatives to do subsequently to support his aspiration but we just start from the street Billboards", Comrade Abdulgafar said.
"He is the prominent aspirant because we have done numerous things together for the community, we want all of you to support and vote for him for the betterment and development of our great community and by extension Ilorin East and South", he added.
Speaking at event, Hon. Yakub Tunde Ajadi Prudent appreciate his community friends for the kind gesture bestowed on him.
Prudent while addressing the supporters said, I grew up in this area, I understand your needs and wants and I shall deliver well if emerge in the forthcoming election.
"there is no time anymore, you all should start in-door campaign, let them know I am the suitable aspirant that can represent you well", he added.
Prudent however present his Nomination form and urged residents to come out in thousands to support and vote for him as the Member House of Representatives for Ilorin East /South Federal Constituency in 2027 election.
