The Kwara Central Elders Caucus has congratulated the Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Yakubu Saliu Danladi, on his emergence as the winner of the recently concluded All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship primary election in Kwara State.
In a statement jointly signed by the Coordinator of the caucus, Alhaji Rasaq Lawal; Chairman, Alhaji Mustapha Kobe; Secretary, Alhaji Ganiyu Alawo; and Public Relations Officer, Alhaji Suleiman Cement and obtained by Just Event Online TV, the group described the victory as a well-deserved recognition of Danladi’s steadfast commitment, loyalty, leadership capacity, and dedication to the growth and progress of Kwara State and the APC.
The caucus noted that the outcome of the primary election reflects the confidence reposed in the Speaker by party stakeholders, delegates, and members across the state, citing his contributions to governance and legislative stability in Kwara State.
The group also expressed confidence in the ability of the APC governorship candidate to sustain the legacy of Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, especially in the areas of infrastructural development, youth empowerment, and people-oriented policies.
According to the statement, Danladi possesses the experience, competence, and political maturity required to lead the state and consolidate on the achievements of the current administration.
The Kwara Central Elders Caucus further assured the APC governorship candidate of its total support and commitment towards ensuring victory for the party in the 2027 governorship election.
The statement also prayed for divine wisdom, strength, and guidance for Danladi as he prepares for the task ahead.
