Dr. Ibrahim Tajudeen Shola Olesin on Monday in Abuja successful submitted his Nomination and Expression of Interest Forms to contest for the House of Representatives seat representing Ilorin East/Ilorin South Federal Constituency under the platform of the All Progressives Congress.
The submission marks a major milestone in the aspirant’s journey, signaling his full entry into the race ahead of the party primaries.
Dr. Olesin described the moment as a significant progression in a mission rooted in service, grassroots engagement, and a sustained commitment to the people.
“This marks a critical step in a journey defined by responsibility, trust, and a clear commitment to effective representation,” he said.
He reiterated that his aspiration is built on years of direct engagement with constituents through impactful interventions in education, community development, and social support, noting that the move into elective politics is aimed at expanding that impact through legislative action.
Dr. Olesin also reaffirmed his loyalty to Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq, the party and alignment with its ideals, while expressing appreciation for the support he has received from party leaders, stakeholders, and constituents across Ilorin East and Ilorin South.
